Custom Fields for User Roles

To Create Custom Fields for Users in CubeWP, Please follow the below steps:

• Go to CubeWP.
• Navigate to “Custom Fields.”
• Click on “User Role.”
• After clicking on “User Role,” click on the “Add New” button. A new window will be open.

Field Settings window help you categorise and organise your custom fields effectively in CubeWP, making it easier to manage and customise them according to your website’s needs.

• Group Name: Assign a label to categorise your custom fields.
• Group Order: Determine the display order of this field group.
• Description: Provide additional context or purpose for the group of fields.

When you click on the Add New Filed, A list of all custom fields will be appear. Certainly, these are the options available when adding a new field in CubeWP:

• Field Label: Enter the label or name for the custom field (e.g., “Author Name”).
• Field Name: An automatically generated internal identifier for the field, typically not modified.
• Field Type: Choose the type of field (e.g., text input, dropdown) for your custom data.
• Description: Optionally, provide a brief description to explain the purpose or use of this field.
• Validation: Set validation rules for the field, if needed.
• ID: An internally generated ID for the field, often not changed.
• Class: Add a CSS class for styling this specific field.
• Container Class: Apply a CSS class to the container holding this field.
• Metabox Field Size: Specify the field’s size within the metabox (e.g., 1/1 for full width).
• Show In REST API: Decide if this field’s data should be accessible via the REST API.
• Conditional Logic: Configure conditions for displaying or hiding this field based on specific criteria.
