Hi,
what would be the best practice to make a dual language site?
Exmple
-in the menu there would be a link to the second language
-somwere in custom posts or taxonomies there would be the original text and the translated one and the correct one would show only in the condition which language was selected
Thanks in advance, because I am lost at the moment.
Dear thefallenone,
Thank you for your question regarding the best practice for creating a dual-language site. When it comes to implementing multilingual functionality on your website, there are several approaches you can take. One common and effective method is to use a third-party plugin specifically designed for multilingual support.
These plugins provide comprehensive features and tools to help you manage and translate content into multiple languages. They typically offer options to create language-specific versions of your pages or posts, manage language switchers, and handle translations efficiently.
Before choosing a multilingual plugin, it’s essential to consider your specific requirements, such as the number of languages you need to support, ease of use, compatibility with your chosen theme and plugins, and any additional features you may require.
I recommend exploring the features and capabilities of different multilingual plugins to find the one that best fits your needs. Additionally, be sure to review the documentation and support provided by the plugin developers to ensure a smooth implementation and ongoing management of your dual-language site.
Best regards,
