Q:

Creating “Locations” Taxonomy From a Front End Form.

Hi,

I’m building a listing directory with a Custom Post Type (CTP) “Directory”of which I have a taxonomy “Locations”.

I want the user to enter and create the taxonomy data for “Locations” when they enter data for “Country”, “State” and “City” from a front end form. Is it possible to have these form fields auto populate as the user starts entering data in the “Country”, “State” and “City” fields? If so, how do I do this?

    Hi,

Thank you for suggesting the taxonomies feature. While we don’t have it at the moment, it’s a great idea and we’ll certainly consider it for future updates. We appreciate your feedback and would love to hear any other suggestions you may have.

This is a great feature. The country will be chosen first. then this country’s cities will open in another box at the bottom. In this way, sub-areas can be opened continuously and as many sub-positions can be added as desired.

I want to ask  more regarding this.
ClassifiedPro is the Theme I am using.

I really do not want the “Locations” function. I think it is not needed due to the gmap address field and just is extra work for (probably annoyed) users.
So, I will try to totally dump “Locations”. Would that be ok?

    Thanks

    Dear Jumper,

We appreciate your participation in the CubeWP Community.

If you have concerns about the Location taxonomy causing user inconvenience, you have the option to remove Locations from your project; it ultimately depends on your preference.

    Warm regards,
    CubeWP Team

      Thank you…I thought so.

I love ClassifiedPro so far. The CubeWP system seems – so far, I am at the beginning – a great alternative to all the “old” (2014 etc) themes with all their additions and updates.

And I would love to see that addition that was suggested here. (auto filling the location form via address)
