Migrate from ACF & CPTUI

Howdy!

I’m excited to be starting with CubeWP.

Is there any recommended way to migrate the configurations for “Advanced Custom Fields” and “Custom Post Type UI” into CubeWP? I hate waste existing work if there’s a way to get the custom fields, posts, and taxonomies out of the old tools so I can start running with CubeWP instead.

We appreciate you joining our community and selecting CubeWP. Currently, we don’t have a dedicated tool for migrating configurations from “Advanced Custom Fields” and “Custom Post Type UI” into CubeWP. However, we have plans to develop an importing tool in the future, which is scheduled after the release of a few major add-ons.

Hi Umer,

An automated tool would be very cool. I hate to tie up support to help me with busy work. I guess I was wondering if there was any instructions or guidance as to what to do (or not do) in order to switch tools. We’ll give it a try and see how it goes.

In the same vein, I’m trying to recreate a custom taxonomy field group to replace the one I built in ACF. Thing is, I need a number custom field and a relational custom field but neither appear to be available. Am I missing something or do these custom fields for taxonomies not exist? If so, when will they be brought into existence?

CubeWP supports custom fields with dependency options for taxonomies. However, there are no taxonomies dependent on custom fields. If you have specific requirements for number and relational custom fields within taxonomies, you may consider exploring other solutions or keeping an eye out for potential updates in future versions that might include these features.
