Q:

CCT with Separate Database for Performance

Using CPT for this kind of CLassified directory are limited for users and database size, while cpt and it metadata stores many lines and rows in database WP_posts and WP_Postmeta which will affeact the performance.

I would suggest using CCT meathod or something can do separate database for the listings..

    Hello Tawfik;
    Thank you for joining the CubeWP community.

    We are committed to utilizing Custom Post Type (CPT) methods that align precisely with WordPress standards. Our approach ensures that we do not create custom tables in the database. By adhering to WordPress standards, we maintain the essence of the platform’s data management philosophy.

    It’s important to distinguish between CPT methods, which adhere to established WordPress conventions, and Custom Content Type (CCT) methods which involve custom data handling. Our decision to follow WordPress standards stems from our belief in preserving the core principles of the platform.

    If you have concerns about the validity of this approach, we encourage you to engage with the WordPress support forum. They can provide further guidance and insights into best practices. Our commitment remains rooted in upholding WordPress standards while effectively managing and organizing data within the framework provided.

    Regards:
    CubeWP Team
