Reset Password Function

Step 1:

• Open your Email Templates Management System.
• Click on Add New to create a new Email Template.
• In the Email Subject field, enter a title e.g. Reset Password. 
• In the Email Content area, access the Short Code {reset_password_link} by finding it in the right side of the window within the Short-code section.

• It’s advisable to consistently generate this link as an anchor tag. This ensures that our users are directed to this page directly.

• Insert the short code into the email content area.
• Now you can update the page

Step 2:

Email Template Settings:

Select User or Admin as Email Recipient:

• This allows you to choose whether the email will be sent to a user or an admin.

Select Type from Given Options:

• This step involves choosing the type of email you want to configure.You could integrate a password reset option from this tab.

Select User Role from Given Options:

• After selecting the type of email, you can further refine the recipient by choosing the user role. This could be options like subscriber, contributor, editor, etc.

Step 3:

• Access the “Pages” section in your content management system.
• Click on “Create New Page” to start creating a new page.
• In the title field, Write the Title of the Page e.g. Reset Password.
• In the page content area, paste the short-code this [cwpResetPasswordForm].
• Now click on the “Publish” button to make the page live and accessible to users.

Step 4:

• Open the CubeWP settings.
• Look for and locate the “URL Config” option within the settings menu.
• In the Password Reset Page settings, select your desired page as you have created according to your need.
• After making the selection, be sure to save the settings to apply the changes.

Note:

The selection of this page is mandatory; otherwise, users may encounter difficulties in the password reset process.
